You live to reveal Jesus Christ!
Colossians 1.24-29. " Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:  Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.  " Hi all! The apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Colossians in chains while he was in captivity in Rome urging and encouraging Christians who was pagan before   to have  faith in Jesus Christ who  alone saves. The work of the cross "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ I fill up in my flesh for his body, which is the church (Colossians 1.24)." • This passage refers to the work of the cross in Paul's life that has left everything up everything, sacrificed everything to follow Jesus Christ and to fulfill his calling as a preacher to the Gentiles in all the countries where the Lord sending him because he wanted to honor his Lord. " Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;  In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;  In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?  If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. (2 Corinthians 11.24-30) " • The Christian life would not exist without the work of the cross that involves a renunciation, a decrease in the "Self" ever in our lives for the character of Jesus Christ to  be manifested more . " And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it... . I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) ... He must increase, but I must decrease.  (John 3:30) ... Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Ephesians 4:20) " • The Lord is at work in us by the brokenness of our own selfishness using trials for us to remain committed to him, that we may walk in his ways " For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12.6-. 10) " • It's through the work of the cross that we have the victory over the works of the devil " When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.  (Jn. 19.30) ... Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2.14-15) ... For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10.3-6)  " • It is through the work of the cross that we have the victory over the power of sin that enslaves more today. " Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  For he that is dead is freed from sin.  Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.  Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.(Romans 6.6-14) " The Gospel, the mystery hidden for ages " Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:  Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.  " " • These passages refer to the mystery hidden for ages "The Gospel," it's the message of the gospel that God use to save, deliver, heal, perform miracles, restore, reveal the mysteries of his kingdom to the multitudes  today " For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. (1 Corinthians 1.18-21) " • It's through the message of the Gospel which make mans  discover their true identity and the purpose for which they were created •It's through the message of the Gospel which make us  become children of God, the son and daughters of the Most High. " But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1.12-13) " What must we do to reveal  Jesus Christ? We must apply the 5 following  principles: 1. In making Jesus-Christ our personal Lord and Savior with a prayer of faith. " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10.9-10) ... To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory(Colossians 1:27). " 2. In glorifying him with our lifestyle which  must reflect his glory and his character. " Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10.31) ... Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed (John 8.31) ... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (Jacques 1:22) " 3. In Speaking of Jesus Christ to those of our knowledge and our surroundings that do not yet know him. Whether our friends, our colleagues, our friends, our neighbors, our brothers, sisters, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins ... we must bear witness to Christ crucified and glorified! 4. Our works must reveal Jesus Christ in all areas of our lives by the constant quest for excellence whether our work, in our profession, in the academy, in business, in our Christian ministry we must be the best! " And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them (Deuteronomy 28:13) ... Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. (2 Corinthians 8.7) ... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14.12-13) " 5. By our commitment and determination to reveal him. " Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. (Colossians 1:29)" At the end of this message I encourage you to make this  decisive choice for all your life, to choose to live for the sake of Christ, to choose to reveal Jesus Christ through all your actions, doing it  each day you would accomplish the perfect God's will for your life. And if you don't do it know that  you will reveal  the devil independent of your will , no one  can serve two masters at once, or you reveal Jesus Christ and you would access to salvation and eternal life or you reveal  the opposite and you go will to hell " No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24) " May the God of exceptional grace make you   all the revealers of his glory! Never forget "Christ in us the glory of Hope"! " For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8.19)" Pst.
